cats' & cat's有什么区别？boss' & boss's究竟哪个正确？
1.名词单数且不以“s”结尾，则在后面+ 's
eg:
The man's tie is black.
那个男人的领带是黑色的
This is my friend's coat.
这是我朋友的大衣
2.名词单数以s为结尾，则在后面+ ’ 或 ’s
eg：
She's my boss' wife.
She's my boss's wife.
她是我老板的老婆
Jack broke the bus' window.
Jack broke the bus's window.
Jack打破了公交车的窗户
3.名词复数，则在后面加 ’
eg：
The cats' beds were in the back of the house.
那些猫的窝在房子的后面
Most of the students' uniforms have been updated.
大部分学生的校服都换新了
那么如果是两个名词呢？是A's and B's 还是A and B's呢？其实两个都可以，只不过表达的意思不同罢了。举两个例子感受一下：
I like Beethoven’s and Mozart’s symphony.
我喜欢贝多芬和莫扎特的交响乐
Do you like Tom and Jerry's story?
你喜欢Tom & Jerry的故事吗？
所以说A's and B's 强调的是A,B分别所有的；而A and B's则强调的是AB共同所有的。
当然任何的rules都有exception大家千万不要钻牛角尖，那些特殊“例外”单独记住就好啦！
