1.close to home  戳到痛点

His criticism was a bit too close to home. She couldn't bear the way he talked about her work.

2.home free  大功告成

Once you hand in the last part of your dissertation, you're home free.

3.a roof over your head  栖身之所

4.the home straight  一项很难工作的最后一个部分

It was just such a difficult project to work on, but we are on the home the straight.
